Merchandising Specialist, Ecommerce

In this role, you will assist and support the Ecommerce Merchant/Buy team with daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service - Lead point of contact for communication and responses for all customer service-initiated reviews: Unpublished Skus, Out of Stocks, etc. Utilize master assortment information to respond in a timely manner to all Customer Service Inquiries.
  • Line Sheets - Create and process line sheets in GDS for DTC exclusive styles and 3rd party product buys.
  • Weekly/Monthly Best Seller decks - Create visual selling decks by category to review at weekly/monthly cross-functional best seller meetings.
  • Seasonal product assortment decks - At seasonal line reviews, create visual decks of .com assortment selects to share with cross-functional teams. Update decks throughout the season as line edits occur.
  • Site Audits - review websites weekly to verify new product loads and alert the team to stock outs and/or styles falling off site. Review websites seasonally for potential markdown opportunities and audit regularly to identify any new candidates.
  • Tracking publish dates by season - Every other week, update master assortment sheet with publish dates. Advise team of updates/changes/styles not published
  • Tracking in-DC dates by season - Every other week, track product in-DC dates for the next season.
  • Sample Management - manage samples needed for brand marketing, photoshoots etc. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate samples are available.
  • Vendor Mgmt./Production Tracking - Track production on DTC exclusive styles and 3rd party product buys.

Skills for Success:

  • Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary.
  • Extensive PC skills (MS Office programs, inclusive of presentation skills via Power Point and analytical skills via Excel/Access)
  • Effective professional communication skills (written, oral)
  • Promotes spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Develops positive relationships with key internal and external partners.

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelors in Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies, Business Management or Merchandising; or equivalent business experience.
