The Role:

We're looking for a Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant's industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings (e.g., Strategic Control Points, development of consulting assets); and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding various risk and regulatory product data attributes from upstream/downstream systems.
  • Understand and support data governance, quality, and compliance processes initiatives within the project.
  • Performing data gap analysis, systems, processes, and procedures as required for the project.
  • Documenting functional, data mapping, reporting logic and other requirements.
  • Communicating requirements to development and QA, performing testing, coordinating UAT testing and assisting production implementation.
  • Contributing to process re-engineering and process improvement where applicable.
  • Supporting user training and documentation as needed.
  • Reporting team working status and raise concerns or issues that may hinder the project progress as planned to management and PMs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems implementation, process improvements or systems re-engineering projects with a banking organization or consulting company.
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets, Risk and Regulations such as Basel, SCCL, CCAR / FR 2590, Large exposures framework is preferred.
  • Experience working in agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the agile framework.
  • Functional knowledge of OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) regulatory reporting and other modules would be a plus
  • Experience of working on source to target data mapping, reconciliation, data quality related to risk and regulatory implementation programs.
  • FR 2052 a liquidity risk reporting experience is needed

Salary and Other Compensation:

  • The annual salary for this position is between $110,000.00- $130,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
