The program will ensure you gain real practical insight into our business, our stakeholders and our customers including communication service providers (CSP) across the globe, and how we integrate end-to-end solutions to ensure everyone worldwide is connected.

Your journey within the Excellerate Program will start as a Contract Manager. This is an 18-month leadership rotation program and includes a 6-month international rotation, most likely in Sweden.

The contract management team is responsible, as business partners to our sales force, to manage the end-to-end contracting process including drafting, reviewing, negotiation of contract. In this role you are a trusted advisor on all aspects of contracting. It is a customer facing role and as such it is exciting to be on the forefront of selling the amazing technology which Ericsson offers. There is a need in our team to introduce an early career professional to ensure continuity.
The average week will entail engagement with sales teams, cross-functional supporting functions including legal, finance, business areas, and technical teams. This person will also learn how to draft, review and negotiate contracts.

This person must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires pro-active and thoughtful engagement with stakeholder and speaking up to ensure that the contract management position is clear. This person must have strong analytical skills and pay attention to detail in order to be successful. Most importantly this person must be open to learn to be challenged with complex projects and it all start will a good attitude. In the contract management team collaboration is key.

The options are endless for an experienced contract manager as the skills gained in this role are transferable to multiple different roles. As a junior contract manager this person will work alongside experienced contract managers as part of the learning and development process. Once the appropriate level of skill and experience is achieved, this person will have the opportunity to work with a tier 1 customer account which is exciting and extremely challenging. From there options could include other roles within commercial management such as pricing manager, commercial director or bid and proposal manager or even being and leader within the commercial management to or leading the commercial management team. Skills gained are also particularly transferrable to the sales organization.

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar
• 2-5 years of experience of contracts involvement
• Experience in the ICT industry preferred
• You will need to have customer and market insight as well as negotiation skills
• Leadership experience
