Department of Student Affairs, UMKC School of Medicine Job Description
Position Description: The Student Affairs department at the UMKC School of Medicine is seeking an experienced Academic Advisor (Education Team Coordinator) for Year 1 and 2 students at the Volker campus. The selected candidate will provide a high level of initiative, organization, detail, and service while providing high-quality work in a time-sensitive environment. Additionally, the selected candidate will be student-centered in both philosophy and practice. Duties include:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Education, or related field and three years of experience working within higher education administration is preferred. Ability to keyboard proficiently and comfortably in working within multiple data systems is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range
$38,480 - $45,390 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. Application Materials
