Are you an experienced Echocardiography Technician looking to make a difference? The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a potential Medical Instrument Technician (Echo Tech) to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and provide exceptional care to our veterans.

Perform high-quality echocardiographic imaging, including stress and transesophageal echocardiography
Assess cardiac function using Doppler imaging and other ultrasound techniques
Administer contrast agents for enhanced imaging results
Monitor patient condition during procedures and assist with care coordination
Maintain, calibrate, and operate specialized cardiology lab equipment
Accurately document assessments and outcomes in electronic records

Highly Preferred: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize cardiac abnormalities
Experience with cardiac ultrasound equipment and electronic medical records
