Job Title: Service Technician FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Loram Technologies Reports to: Assistant Manager, Field Services LTI GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Service Technician position is responsible for providing customer service and maintenance functions to Loram customers within a specific region. Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad's wheel/rail life. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Customer Focus

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: High School Diploma/ Equivalent Licenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications Ability to obtain a CDL. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Experience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. COMPENSATION: Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation. Starting pay for the position is between $21.00 - $24.00.
