Experienced Structural Engineer

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for an Experienced Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing structural analysis, designs, and calculations for new and renovated building structures for aviation, federal, and industrial clients
• Preparing construction documents
• Assisting project managers to carry out project assignments
• This position has the opportunity to provide mentorship and guidance to team members and work with the department manager to assist in plan the strategic growth of the team.
• Some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, architectural, or structural engineering from an accredited college or university.
• At least six years of relevant work experience
• A PE or SE license in any state

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Experience designing and detailing structural steel, light gage steel, concrete, masonry, and heavy timber structural building systems
• Experience with multi-floor building design
• Knowledge of codes, statues, and laws related to building design and construction
• Experience with RAM and/or RISA and other structural analysis software

Salary Range: $100K $125K- Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
