Kleinschmidt has a part-time, temporary opening for a Marketing Intern to assist the Marketing Team with various duties. The ideal candidate would be in or around Lexington, SC. Our flexibility and core value of relationships allow us to offer employees the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment including working from the office and remotely.

Salary: $16.00-$18.00/hourly (based on experience)

Who You Are

A third-year student studying marketing, or a related field, with excellent time-management and multitasking skills.

Relationship-focused: Demonstrated ability to work well as a team player. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledgeable: Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Adobe Creative Suite, with a Focus on InDesign and Adobe Premiere. Ability to use generative AI to enhance efficiency (ChatGPT, CoPilot, others). Ability to learn marketing programs and technology (Foleon, Hubspot, Open Asset).

  • Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.


About the Position

The successful candidate will be assisting the Marketing Team from April-August 2025 with various duties such as updating the corporate website, drafting social media posts and press releases, internal and external projects and presentations, and other projects upon request.

Our Process

Kleinschmidt strives to provide a great candidate experience. After careful review of resumes, we will notify those we are interested in interviewing. We may ask for more details with an initial screening. Our process normally involves two interviews. The top candidate will then be asked to provide 2-3 references and offered a benefits call, a unique step in our process where we describe our full benefits package. The final step is an offer sent via email.
