As a Economic Analyst Trainee, you will be assigned to the Market Research and Forecast (MR&F) department within the Marketing division. Our marketing team is responsible for providing Marketing and other departments with economic, industry, statistical, and forecast information to support critical decision making. You will analyze data from internal and external sources to develop relevant insights in a variety of formats for NS stakeholders. You will be tasked with duties to support Norfolk Southern's business review and forecasting processes, business development, and performance metrics. You may also participate on cross-functional teams with Operations, Finance, etc.to evaluate future business opportunities. Job Responsibilities:
