The Coordinator is responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating staff, as well as conducting regular meetings to address floor administration, programming, discipline, and student concerns. In addition, the Residence Hall Coordinator prepares weekly, monthly, and annual reports while effectively communicating, interpreting, and enforcing all residence hall and College policies with residents. This role involves coordinating disciplinary actions with the immediate supervisor, acting as a liaison between the residence halls and College Administration, and setting and supporting the residence hall's quarterly and annual goals. The Coordinator manages the potential off-season use of residence halls and handles emergency or crisis situations with professionalism. Participation in College in-services, professional development, and training programs is required. The Coordinator also ensures the smooth opening and closing of the residence halls, facilitates orientation programs, and fosters a positive living-learning environment for all residents.
