• Make an Impact! The Lead Pharmacist, Ambulatory Interprets and evaluates medication orders for patients of MLHS and consult with healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapy. Supervise activities of staff pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel to assure accurate and timely compounding, dispensing of medications and provide medication for timely drug administration. Support the healthcare team by providing drug information and guidance related to appropriate and cost effective drug therapy.

Position: Lead Pharmacist, Ambulatory
Shift: Day Shift- 8am-4:30pm- occasional Saturday

Experience:
Three years in hospital pharmacy or retail pharmacy is preferred or in a management role.

Education:
4 year Bachelor's Degree required. Graduat Degree Preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
RP - Registered Pharmacist - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Immunization certification is required within 90 days of hire.

BLS Certification by American Heart Association preferred upon hire, required in timeframe specified in CPR (BLS)/ALS/PALS Policy
