The department of Human Resources supports the staff and management of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Contract Labor Management Specialist will coordinate, oversee and coordinate all contract labor utilization throughout OSUWMC, ensuring alignment with staffing needs across the full lifecycle, will develop and maintain excellent relationships with leaders of all levels, will serve as the primary liaison between OSUWMC and the Agency Staffing Managed Service Program.

The Contract Labor Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the use of contract labor within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). This position plays a critical role in collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to ensure effective management of contract staffing. The Contract Staffing Analyst will work closely with departments such as purchasing, accounts payable, department administration, Occupational Medicine, and Human Resources to support the strategic staffing plan of OSUWMC. Additionally, this role will serve as the primary liaison between OSUWMC and contract labor vendors, ensuring smooth on-boarding processes, including background checks and health clearances. This role will also work with the Human Resources leadership team with forecasting and planning for utilization of contract staff.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.

  • 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Agency and/or operational staffing resource management, contract/vendor program management, and very strong organizational skills preferred.

  • Data and reporting skills are also highly desired.
