The role in the semiconductor Die Fab area is a critical one, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. As a Sort operator, you will be entrusted with the meticulous task of handling delicate integrated circuits, which are the heart of modern electronics. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of the products, making your role essential to the success of the manufacturing process. The ability to follow product documentation and engineering specifications with precision ensures that each circuit meets the stringent standards required for performance. Moreover, the collaboration with engineering groups and trainers will not only contribute to the area's goals but also facilitate your professional growth as you acquire new skills and expand your expertise in this cutting-edge field.

Though you will be part of a team, you will be working independently to contribute to the area's goals. The scope and complexity of your work will be based on your current capabilities and your ability to gain new skills. The Sort operation position requires the ability to handle delicate products as instructed by the product documentation and engineering specifications. Sort operators are required to use standardized procedures to set up and run a computer program and semi-automated equipment to pick and sort integrated circuits for visual inspection.


Responsibilities

Sort operators in the semiconductor Die Fab area include meticulous attention to detail, the ability to follow complex instructions, and a steady hand for handling delicate products. Proficiency in using computer programs and semi-automated equipment is also essential. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial, even when working independently, to ensure alignment with the team's objectives and to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and skills. Continuous learning and adaptability are also important, as the role may require acquiring new skills to handle varying scopes and complexities of work. A commitment to quality and a thorough understanding of engineering specifications are what make a Sort operator successful in this field.


Qualifications

  • The ability to work in an ESD room environment.
  • The ability to raise concerns though a standardized chain of command.
  • Ability to handle and process delicate materials in chip or wafer form.
  • Skilled hand-eye coordination is imperative for proper handling and movement of parts
  • Experience with aspects of integrated circuit fabrication processing including but not limited to sort or visual inspection desired.
  • Team communication and collaboration
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

This position requires access to technology and/or technical data that is subject to U.S. export controls. You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

Pay Range:

USD $54,520.00 - USD $90,870.00 Year
