We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Spend Measurement to join our team at Blue Buffalo. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of marketing mix modeling (MMM) and broader measurement frameworks, ensuring our media investments and marketing strategies deliver impactful results. You will work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, finance, and analytics to evaluate and optimize the success of media executions and investments, building a comprehensive and actionable measurement program that aligns with the company's growth goals. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with proven success in leading strong teams, translating data and analytics into insights for growth, and working at the forefront of measurement capabilities. Data prowess, intellectual curiosity, creative problem solving, and strong collaboration skills are a must. The preferred location for this role is Minneapolis, but remote candidates may be considered. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establish and lead a holistic, integrated measurement program for the General Mills pet segment inclusive of national and retail media executions
- Lead marketing mix program to measure the efficiency and impact of commercial spending across various channels, including national and retail executions
- Lead the analysis of commercial spend data and generate insights to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for various initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and cost efficiencies
- Partner with internal brand teams and external agency partners to align on business goals, spending priorities across the portfolio, and channel investment allocation
- Coach and build a team of measurement/analytics experts in the disciplines of media measurement and experimentation
- Identify opportunities to improve holistic measurement program, data flows, and reporting to enhance data quality and decision-making
- Provide leadership with regular updates on media performance and actionable insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and improve cost-efficiencies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years' experience in marketing measurement analytics with a proven track record of influencing business leaders in making spending decisions
- Measurement experience in traditional and digital touchpoint analytics, preferably with a CPG/Pet manufacturer, measurement solutions company, or in a media agency setting
- Strong knowledge with marketing analytics beyond marketing mix models (Attribution, and A/B testing methodologies)
- Demonstrated strong business acumen with experience integrating syndicated performance data (Nielsen, IRI) into measurement analysis
- Excellent collaboration and organizational navigation skills with agility to work with multiple stakeholders across functions
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years' experience in marketing measurement analytics
- Master's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Data Analytics or related field

- We are open to 100% remote candidates with occasional travel based on business needs.
- International remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

The salary range for this position is $124200.00 - $207100.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role.
