RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

Under specific direction, performs service or repairs in a specialized skill area such as mechanical, electrical / electronic, Fire and Life Safety, millwright, welding, plumbing, carpentry, painting, locksmith or machine servicing, etc.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

1. Performs service or repair work in a specialized skill area such as mechanical, electrical / electronic, Fire and Life Safety Equipment, millwright, welding, plumbing, carpentry, painting, locksmith or machine servicing, etc.

2. Selects and lays out required materials per work orders or verbal instructions.

3. Sets up and operates tools and machines incidental to operations.

4. May be required to assist with requisitioning new supplies and equipment.

5. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

6. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.

7. Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Completion of a two-year technical degree or equivalent, and or a minimum of two years of experience as an O&M Specialist I.

2. Requires knowledge of trade fundamentals sufficient to perform specialized service and repair work.

3. Requires ability to work from drawings, diagrams, sketches and verbal instructions.

4. Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.

5. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.

6. Required to use a variety of hand and power tools or forklift.

7. May be required to possess a valid driver's license.

8. Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32-40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
