The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director oversees the administrative and personnel management of research support initiatives at the School, including coordinating PhD pipeline programs, directing strategy for the Behavioral Research Lab, and overseeing database and data set access. The incumbent will provide guidance and accountability for shared central oversight of research and technical staff members who are working for faculty within individual centers, divisions and programs. This individual will be engaged in the creation of policy and processes pertaining to the recruiting efforts for full-time and part-time research support staff across Columbia Business School (CBS). The research centers, special programs, institutes, and cross-disciplinary areas at CBS span a wide range of topics, interests, and functions, producing original research, partnering with companies and institutions, designing coursework, and promoting public discourse.
