Location Nellis AFB, NV Job Posting No 111421 113030 you will need to scroll (using outside bar) to the bottom of the page and click on the "Apply Start Date TBD Contract Nellis Aircraft Maintenance & Support Services Salary Range DOE Posting Date 02/12/2025 Union No FLSA Status Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a Propulsion Supervisor with the following knowledge and experience: Under the direction of the Maintenance Branch Manager performs the following duties: * Direct the maintenance effort to ensure mission capable engines in the quantities necessary to execute contract requirements, are available to the customer. * Operationally manage the work centers assigned to Propulsion Section. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws to include: training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, and resolving problems and/or complaints. * Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement. * Enforce strict adherence to technical data, management procedures, and company policy. * Possess extensive knowledge of DAFI21-101 (and applicable supplements) and other AFIs and directives that pertain to Propulsion operations, scheduling, and responsibilities. * Participate in the F100-PW-220/-229 Repair Network Integration as a program repair node IAW DAFI20-117. * Ensure engine and equipment forms and MIS documentation are completed, accurate, and accomplished. * Plan and execute shop equipment and personnel TDYs to support the customer. * Develop, maintain and verify Propulsion Section's special certification rosters. * Work directly with site-specific Government Officials on matters related to daily operations of contract. * Coordinate and communicate section issues, concerns and efforts with external agencies including, but not limited to 57 MXG, Aircraft Maintenance Units, Command, and system program offices. * Maintain Technical Data, bench and operating stocks, ensure maintenance, control and storage of equipment, Maintenance, Safety and Protective Equipment; control and maintain TMDE. High School diploma a minimum. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English * Minimum 10 years hands on Propulsion maintenance experience with at least 6 years supervisory experience. Experience in F100-PW-220/-229/F119 Jet Engine Intermediate Maintenance functions. * Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team as required. * Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner. * Must have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings, charts and technical publications). * Must be willing to obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X and IPI certification, and other special certification roster items. * Must be willing and able to conduct specialty on the job training as required. * Obtain/maintain security clearance. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. * Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.
