The Senior Product Owner, Reliability Enablement , reporting to the Manager Reliability Enablement, is a problem solver responsible for the execution of trial and measurement serving Service Assurance, Outside Plant Maintenance and Field Services. The Senior Product Owner: Reliability Enablement is responsible for defining operational process and policy, managing the trial of new processes and technology for operational readiness, and process-aligned effectiveness metric definition. This role will contribute to collaborative vision setting and requirements-gathering working sessions across Outside Plant Maintenance, Field Operations, Service Assurance, and Technology Delivery teams while balancing customer experience, employee effectiveness, and financial goals.

The ideal candidate is an experienced 'functional technologist' possessing strong communication skills and highly innovative problem-solving skills. This individual contributor should be capable of 'owning and understanding' every facet of the operational process and policies they are responsible for through design, trial, and implementation.

This role will maintain collaborative relationships across Operations and Technology Delivery teams. In addition, this individual will be critical to curating continuous feedback from technology and process users and embodying a 'client service' mentality in representing the day-to-day needs of Service Assurance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to ideation, design, planning, and execution of multi-year Reliability Assurance Platforms (in close partnership with Network Analytics and Development teams).
  • Responsible for contributing to the collaborative design of Reliability Assurance Platforms with boundary partner 'clients' (e.g., Outside Plant Maintenance, Field Services, Service Assurance) and Technology Delivery teams.
  • Responsible for contributing to Portfolio Intake, Bi-Weekly Demos, and Bi-Weekly Intake.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • A willingness and ability to question existing practices to identify opportunities for improvement both through process and technology/tooling
  • Responsible for adhering to the Service Reliability Engagement Model with Outside Plant Maintenance, Field Services, and Service Assurance teams to source requirements, process gaps, policy conflicts, and requirements for target state tools and intelligence
  • Embodies a 'client service' mentality in support of Outside Plant Maintenance, Field Service, and Service Assurance teams.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current operational state and future vision.
  • Responsible for planning and executing trials/launches, including defining points of contact, communication strategy, timelines, and go/no-go criteria
  • Defining key performance indicators, establish baselines, and oversee the tracking and reporting of metrics


Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2+ years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Experienced in process or business requirements design.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive requirements definition through collaboration and data-driven decisioning.
  • Proven ability to design and document platform requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.


Preferred

  • Experience in Outside Plant Maintenance, Field Services, or Service Assurance operations.
  • Expertise in facilitating conversations/workshops between diverse stakeholder groups, encouraging participation and ensuring alignment and forward momentum
  • Experience participating in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.


USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
