Maintenance Coordinator CLS TS Transp Full Time 83860BR Job Summary Under supervision of the Fleet Manager, the maintenance coordinator is part of a team that has the responsibility to assure the UCSF campus community, which includes faculty, staff, students and patients, is provided with safe, reliable and clean UCSF vehicles for transportation between various campus sites and transit centers. The employee will complete a daily vehicle safety inspection of 50+ UCSF campus shuttle bus vehicles, perform maintenance coordination for nearly 70 department vehicles which include 10 Supervisor/Parking vehicles and complete reports for submittal to supervisor. The employee will be responsible for a visual inspection of brake systems, tires, engine noises, fluid leakage, electrical problems and body damage to determine the need for unscheduled maintenance and repairs. The incumbent will schedule preventative maintenance with UCSF contracted vendors on a daily basis and will interact and support UCSF vanpool participants, UCSF shuttle drivers and department personnel with various vehicle maintenance issues providing customer service excellence at all times. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $29.03 - $41.55 (Hourly Rate).
