Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Consultant to lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for complex goods and services. This role focuses on large-scale service contracts and involves working on high-value deals within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with at least 7+ years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Procurement ? Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned service categories, ensuring cost savings, supplier quality, and risk mitigation. ? Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends. ? Lead RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) from initiation to evaluation. ? Negotiate and manage large-scale service contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies. Supplier & Stakeholder Management ? Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement. ? Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, identifying business needs and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly. ? Work cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Communications, and Operations to ensure sourcing success. Contract Negotiation & Financial Optimization ? Develop and execute negotiation strategies to secure optimal contract terms. ? Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities. ? Utilize total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and financial modeling to assess sourcing decisions. Qualifications ? 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a strong focus on services procurement and contract negotiation. ? Proven track record in managing RFx processes and negotiating complex, high-value contracts. ? Experience in financial services procurement and familiarity with Ariba or similar procurement platforms is a plus. ? Strong ability to work with senior leadership, drive stakeholder engagement, and influence business decisions. ? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong presence and ability to represent the company effectively. ?
