Start Date ASAP Contract 9402 Salary Range DOE Posting Date 02/13/2025 Union No FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shift Work No FT/PT Full Time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for an HR Generalist Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: The Human Resource Generalist will support the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices in multiple stateside and overseas locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Perform and administers a variety of Human Resources functions including on-boarding, new hires, benefits, LOAs, employee and labor relations, discipline and terminations, compensation, and benefits * Guides the implementation, support and execution of HR policies and procedures * Develops HR procedures * Advises, coaches, and supports sites and all levels of management in all HR matters * Reviews and assist management with counseling and disciplinary actions * Examines and/or processes personnel action documents * Applies and enforces appropriate laws, labor agreements, rules and procedures * Responds to varied HR related questions and request for assistance from applicants, employees, and management, partners, and customers * Processes company-wide benefits and participates in annual open enrollments * Provides HR guidance and training to other HR team members * Prepares applicable memos, letters, responses and forms * Responsible for the completion and accuracy of required HR documents and entries into the HRIS * Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. * Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years HR experience or a combination of experience and education * HR related experience with multi-site organizations preferred * A minimum of two years working in a government contracting environment preferred * Knowledgeable and experienced in the application of state and federal employment and labor laws relating to EEOC, DOL, OFCCP, AAP, Title VII, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA, etc. * Experience working with a unionized workforce preferred * Experience in the administration of company-wide benefit programs preferred * Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, HRIS and Outlook * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-confrontational attitude * May be required to obtain and maintain government security clearance * Must be able to work extended hours in order to meet deadlines * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be detail oriented * Ability to analyze situations and make decisions based on applicable laws or company policies M1 Support Services, headquartered in Denton, Texas provides a variety of professional, technical, and maintenance services to the Department of Defense and government agencies.
