Role and Responsibilities:


At CW Resources, Inc., our mission is to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their career goals through competitive and integrated employment. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business and Partner Developer to help us expand our network, establish meaningful partnerships, and drive new business opportunities in the community.



  • Develop strategic relationships with community partners, employers, and business leaders.

  • Proactively identify, develop, and nurture partnerships with local businesses, workforce development agencies, Chambers of Commerce, and community organizations.

  • Attend networking events, job development consortiums, and community forums to promote CW Resources, identify hiring needs, and establish collaborative relationships.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to create job placements for individuals with disabilities, including competitive employment, volunteer opportunities, and business partnerships.

  • Work closely with internal staff, including Employment Specialists and Rehabilitation Counselors, to ensure seamless coordination between community partners and CW Resources services.

  • Manage relationships with existing business partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement while exploring new ways to support mutual goals.

  • Advocate for individuals with disabilities in the workforce, highlighting the value of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  • Develop opportunities for mock interviews, job shadows, company tours, and volunteer placements, fostering long-term engagement with employers.

  • Stay informed on local business trends, hiring needs, and workforce development initiatives.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on partnership progress and business development efforts.

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, partnerships, and business leads. Document outcomes, follow-up activities, and next steps in accordance with agency guidelines.

  • Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new business development strategies.


Qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field (Preferred), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the human services, job development, vocational rehabilitation, employment services, or a related field.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Ability to travel within the community to visit various sites and business locations as needed.


Preferred Skills:



  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in a community-focused or nonprofit environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of employment laws, ADA regulations, and workplace accommodations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Advanced ability to identify business opportunities and effectively communicate the value of CW Resources' services.

  • Experience in networking, outreach, and community engagement activities.

  • Knowledge of job placement practices and community resources is a plus.

  • First Aid certification, CPR training, and Physical & Psychological Management Training or equivalent.


Physical & Environmental Demands:



  • The position requires regular travel within the local community to visit business locations, community sites, and meet with potential partners.

  • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.

  • The position is based in a combination of office settings and community-based locations.

  • The ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, and other electronic devices.

  • Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
