Performing electrical maintenance, HVAC, installation, and repair tasks in a facility. The position requires expertise in industrial electrical systems, ability to read blueprints, troubleshoot equipment, and perform general maintenance duties.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Planning and executing electrical work involving installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of various electrical apparatus and control equipment.
  • Interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings to plan and organize work efficiently.
  • Collaborating with clients and maintenance staff to determine optimal approaches for completing assignments safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Installing VFD's, and performing necessary measurements, cutting, threading, and bending of conduit using appropriate tools.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing faulty wiring, motors, and other electrical equipment.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, upgrading, and installing electrical/instrumentation equipment and systems in a large facility.
  • Replacing lamps, ballasts and fixtures throughout facility.
  • Anticipating potential issues and taking proactive measures to maintain facility structures and assets.
  • Documenting all work performed and hours spent on tasks.
  • Performing associated tasks and collaborating with other trades as needed.
  • Addressing general maintenance tasks, including plumbing issues, door repairs and HVAC.
  • Use of scissor lift, boom lift and ladders to complete work tasks.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Basic Computer Skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and maintenance staff.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate potential issues and take pre-emptive action to maintain facility structures and assets.
  • Experience in Commercial Buildings: Previous experience working in a facility or similar environment.
  • Instrumentation Skills: Experience in diagnosing, maintaining, upgrading, and installing instrumentation equipment and systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective documentation and interaction with team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Electrical Expertise: Understanding of industrial electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus and control equipment.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Competence in diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical wiring, motors, and other equipment.
  • Hands-On Experience: Experience with installing VFD's, performing conduit measurements, cutting, threading, and bending.
  • General Maintenance: Skills in performing general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, door repairs, and basic HVAC.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of and ability to adhere to environmental and safety regulations.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

62,400.00 - 70,720.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
