Under general direction of the women's soccer head coach, assist in all aspects of the NCAA Division I women's soccer program including student recruitment, scheduling, team travel, scouting opponents, practice planning, assisting with the administration of summer camps and clinics, and administration of the women's soccer program in full compliance with NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
* Bachelor's degree in related area and/ or equivalent experience/training with a college - level program.
* Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience in the sport of women's soccer.
* Knowledge of the rules and strategies of women's soccer. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes. These include UC Davis, conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association policies and procedures.

Work Environment

Adheres to high standards of honesty and sportsmanship that characterize participation in competitive sports in the collegiate setting. Ability to interact effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with UC Davis student-athletes, coaching colleagues, department staff and other persons from diverse backgrounds including parents, fans, boosters, members of the media and officials associated with the sport. Maintain a working knowledge of, abide by and comply with all NCAA bylaws that pertain to the specific job responsibilities. Learn and follow all established rules and regulations as they relate to the Policies and Procedures of UC Davis, conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Have an understanding of and advocacy for a philosophy that emphasizes academic as well as athletic achievement. Exhibits a strong commitment to the academic progress of all student-athletes. Read and follow the Intercollegiate Athletics Policies and Procedures. Current CPR & First Aid certification or must obtain within 30 days from date of hire and certified bi-annually. Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System.
