• Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role.
• This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department.
• The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
• Also, the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

About the units:

• 20-bed unit Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery Unit (H6) specializes in kidney, liver, lung, intestinal and pancreas transplants.
• In addition, cares for all liver cancer surgery patients.
• 24-private beds, the Acute Care Surgery (H4I4) treats a variety of surgical patient diagnoses, including abdominal issues such as small bowel obstruction, pancreatitis, gallstones, appendicitis, gunshot wounds, stabs, falls, tracheostomies and ostomies.

* Position: 40 hours per week
* Shift: Rotating Shifts

* Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
