University of California, Riverside - University Extension ABOUT UCR UNIVERSITY EXTENSION University Extension is the continuing and professional education division of the University of California, Riverside offering programs and certificates to domestic and international students. University Extension values excellence and has educated international students for over forty years. POSITION OVERVIEW Position Title: Nonprofit Management: Part-Time UNEX Instructor POSITION DESCRIPTION UC Riverside Extension is seeking experienced and qualified candidates to provide instruction in closely related fields of Nonprofit Management. This is a continuous recruitment for part-time instructors to teach courses in Extension's Professional Certificates in Advanced Nonprofit Management and Nonprofit Management to adult learners. These programs are designed to explore concepts and practices, including legal constraints and liabilities, supervision of staff and volunteers, fundraising techniques, and more to ensure a successful management approach in diverse areas, such as healthcare, the arts, and education, among others. The Professional Certificates in Advanced Nonprofit Management and Nonprofit Management reside in the Department of Professional Programs. Courses are 10-12 weeks long, average 6 teaching hours per week, and offered in-person at the University of California, Palm Desert Center. Courses delivered in-person are typically scheduled evenings, Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays. Courses Include:
