The Inspection Supervisor is responsible for inspecting video endoscopes and managing the Endoscope Inspection Technicians. This person is critical in ensuring high production and operational standards are innovative and streamlined, ensuring the highest product quality and meeting the customer expectations with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities of the Inspection Supervisor:


  • Oversees all stages of endoscope inspection to ensure efficient processing and effective cross-functional communication.
  • Conduct internal quality inspections to maintain high standards and compliance with company requirements.
  • Diagnose product issues based on customer complaints and ensure inspection results are accurately documented.
  • Maintain precise records of parts utilized and quotations provided.
  • Communicate issues, concerns, defects, and inquiries to the Service Operations Leader to escalate matters as necessary.
  • Stay informed about product repair manuals to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and promptly report any infractions or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Accurately maintain departmental documentation within the company's designated systems.


Requirements of the Inspection Supervisor:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent or 1 year of related experience or training
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to supervise and guide inspection teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies
  • A minimum of 2 years in technical repair roles, preferable involving mechanical or electronic equipment.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to lead lean thinking, team involvement, and problem-solving initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement process improvements
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in using computer software for data analysis and reporting
