WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Senior Application Specialist will serve as the primary point of coordination and planning for WM-US on critical projects to remediate regulatory findings. This position initially will focus on Federal Reserve Bank matters related to IT Asset Management and Identity & Access Management. Additional regulatory and/or cyber-security projects are anticipated beyond the immediate projects and this candidate will be assigned to work on those projects as they arise. The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.

  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.

  • Analyzes information technology (IT) requirements in business processes, through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis, and collaboration across (IT) teams.

  • Work closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables. Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate.

  • Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

  • Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.

  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.

  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.

  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation

  • Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses

  • Experience with identity access management processes & principles and other cyber-security best practices.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $150,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
