What is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Manager to lead our Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the business. This person must be able to demonstrate a progressive career in a finance or related role and have experience mentoring & leading a team.

What will you do?

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end close deliverables for P&L and B/S including journal entries, preliminary estimates, and reporting

  • Support the development and implementation of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts for business departments

  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering professional growth and development

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, reports, and forecasts

  • Manage and monitor business specific allocations for the business

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to optimize financial performance

  • Drive strategic initiatives and provide financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with organizational goals

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards

What do you need to succeed?

  • Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing team

  • Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives

  • Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to senior management and stakeholders

  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address financial challenges and drive strategic decisions

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA is preferred)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and management

  • Demonstrated experience in leading financial teams and managing complex financial processes

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and modeling excellence

Nice to Have:

  • 3+ years in the wealth management, banking, or related industry

  • Experience with data reporting, Tableau, workflow tools, and financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion Essbase, and IBM Cognos TM1

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $150,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
