Position Responsibilities


  • Works with development, quality assurance and product management teams across the US, UK, Philippines, and India to deliver high-quality software products

  • Operates under close supervision and reports to the Engineering Manager

  • Demonstrates effective time management and completes software projects in a collaborative team environment

  • The ideal candidate will be a newcomer to software development, with limited experience in developing and maintaining web applications gained through traditional education and some through on-the-job practice

Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field. Candidates graduating in Spring of 2025 will be considered for this role

  • Proficiency in coding with one or more of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar

  • Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms

  • Quick to learn new products and technologies

  • Agile development methodology background and/or experience is strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Knowledge of web application development, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to participate in complex technical discussions
