Financial Analyst Location: Plano, TX - Hybrid We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated candidate to provide thought leadership, perform advanced analytics, create insights into data and possesses strong technical expertise in automating complex data sets and processes. The ideal candidate should also have a solid understanding of business finance, enabling effective analysis and presentation of financial progress. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting and redefining the financial analytical framework for the leadership team of an organizational unit. About Our Opportunity As a Financial Analyst you would be required to review, analyze, and report the financial progress and deliver actionable advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance of the organizational unit. This role will require predominantly working BI tools like Power BI, SSIS, etc. and with SQL/other relevant databases. Typically, they will interface with leadership teams, appropriate decision makers, relevant stakeholders and supporting finance units. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Reporting: Review, analyze, and report on the financial progress of the organizational unit, automating and processes into insightful and compelling narratives. Actionable Recommendations: Effectively communicate and deliver actionable advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance improvements. Technical Expertise: Explore, extract and articulate meaningful insights from organizational data, leveraging big data tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, etc.). Proficient in working with non-standard data types such as time series, text, geospatial and images and possesses an understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning workflows. Collaboration: Interface with leadership teams, decision makers, stakeholders, and supporting finance units to gather requirements and provide valuable insights. Tools & Resources
