Responsibilities

The missile signature modeling and analysis candidate will be tasked to develop RCS and/or IR hardbody signature models using XPatch and/or OSC, for multiple missile systems. The candidate should be able to analyze available missile system data, that may include OPIR or other intelligence sources, when validating the signature models. The candidate will be required to validate each model developed which will be documented in the associated Verification and Validation (V&V) reports that must be delivered with each signature model.

Responsibilities:

    Apply Computational Electromagnetics software and theory to predict the RCS and IR signatures of complex targets under varying conditions, configurations, and modeling parameters to meet intelligence production requirements
  • Produce specialized analyses and reports supporting signature predictions, data quality assessment, modeling methods extensions, and capability assessments
  • Conduct analyses employing commercial-off-the-shelf and government-off-the-shelf CEM codes on compute clusters and government high-performance computing assets, managing multiple computational workflows from geometry generation through post processing and reporting


Qualifications

Minimum 9 years w/o a degree

Minimum 5 years with BA/BS

Minimum 3 years with MA/MS

Minimum 0 years with PhD

  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
  • Significant experience using CEM codes including Xpatch, or other commercial capability equivalents with physical optics, method-of-moments, and finite-element solvers
  • Modeling and analysis experience in the characterization of adversary missile systems.
  • Familiarity with utilizing high-performance computing (HPC) environments for physics or mathematical simulations.
  • Advanced knowledge and/or education in RCS and/or IR signal processing
  • Mathematical background in linear algebra, differential equations, complex analysis, numerical methods, and statistics.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
