Department Summary The Office of Processing evaluates applications for eligibility requirements for 6 schools on the UNT Health Science Center campus, maintaining application statuses for each and ensuring all applicants receive a decision for their application. Position Overview The Admissions Recruitment department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is seeking to hire a Recruitment/Admissions Associate to join our team. The Processing office handles admission applications for the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Biomedical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, School of Health Professions and School of Public Health certificate and degree programs. This team member will be responsible for assisting the Admissions Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and admissions application processing. Exceptional customer service is a must. Assisting the director in several duties related to admission procedures, selection of students, maintaining the database of all the information related to the admissions, general administration and relevant management, etc. is also required. Both in office and remote work are required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and one year related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Exceptional Customer Service skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in higher education with admissions or an environment where comparable job skills are acquired.Experience on a health science center campus. Job Duties:
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as required for divisional events.
