JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences seeks to hire a part-time customer service agent. The position is responsible for assisting with customer phone calls and emails, processing customer registrations and website orders in appropriate digital registration systems, and providing support for customer questions and/or needs regarding order support, website orders, website technical support, digital product access, and general Extension support questions and call routing. This position also assists with data entry and record management in Salesforce, which includes ensuring contact, account, order, and other key data is up to date and accurate.The customer support representative will engage customers and clientele daily, so candidates should enjoy assisting people and creating an environment welcoming all customers. A basic understanding of computers, strong technical and organizational skills, and interpersonal skills are required.Training will be held in person in our office at University Park. Once trained, the position will be remote, with occasional needs to be in person in the office. The call center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
