Job Description

The Revenue to Cash Accountant will be responsible for supporting all activities related to the Revenue to Cash cycle. This includes order approval, credit limits, invoicing, collections, Accounts Receivable Aging management, Accounts Receivable provision analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations related to the Revenue to Cash cycle. The Revenue to Cash accountant will also support the month-end close process as well as forecasting and budgeting.


The Revenue to Cash Accountant will also be responsible for process improvement activities associated with the Revenue to Cash cycle, including opportunities from a technology perspective.

Essential Job Functions


  • Order Approval:

    • Responsible for the Finance review and approval of all new orders accepted by Rochester Cable
    • Working closely with Sales and Project Management in this process


  • Invoicing

    • Invoice customers for orders completed by production as well as all other invoicing situations (i.e. cash in advance, bill and hold, etc.)
    • Coordinating these activities with Production Control and Sales to ensure that only items approved for invoicing are invoiced


  • Accounts Receivable Management

    • Actively pursuing collections for invoices sent to customers
    • Maintaining a days sales outstanding in accordance with current credit policies
    • Coordinating with external customers and sales on cash collection activities


  • Month End Close responsibilities

    • Journal entries associated with the Revenue to Cash cycle
    • Balance Sheet reconciliations associated with the Revenue to Cash cycle


  • Other responsibilities as needed
