A Brief Overview

This is an intermediate-level professional position that acts as a talent advisor and collaborates with business partners to bring in quality talent to the organization. This role assists with the organization's recruiting needs, in accordance with recruiting guidelines.

What You Will Do



  • Functions as a talent advisor by fully understanding the hiring needs of the business across multiple business groups by collaboratively engaging with business partners both internal & external to Talent Acquisition.
  • Facilitates conversations around sourcing strategies; works collaboratively with business partners, TA Leadership and/or advertising partner on the development & execution of sourcing plans.
  • Effectively manages job postings to ensure an accurate & engaging depiction of the role via the career site.
  • Shares labor market knowledge to educate business partners regarding sourcing strategies around hiring needs.
  • Assesses and selects candidates through resume / qualifications review to determine next step in interview process.
  • Effectively communicates applicant status in recruitment process via timely & accurate statusing along with sending applicable correspondence within Applicant Tracking System. Shares candidates with peers for other roles.
  • Conducts behavioral assessment based interviews, either via phone or video platform using targeted selection or other standardized interview guides.
  • Issues & obtains candidate interview feedback forms from hiring manager(s).
  • Collaborates with business partners to make quality hiring decisions.
  • Collaborates with hiring manager and Compensation (if applicable) in the determination of offer amount.
  • Extends job offers and issues offer letters through Applicant Tracking System.
  • Initiates post-offer background check process.
  • Prepares and communicates information for analyses or maintain metrics regarding hiring statistics.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
