Myers and Stauffer LC is a certified public accounting and health care reimbursement consulting firm, specializing in audit, accounting, data management and consulting services to government-sponsored health care programs (primarily state Medicaid agencies, and the federal Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services). We have 45+ years of experience assisting our government clients with complex health care reimbursement and provider compliance issues, operate 20 offices and have over 900 associates nationwide.

The Automation Engineer will join an already successful team to grow our projects, other staff, and personally through the firm's commitment to our people. An experienced Automation Engineer who brings in mature technical skills, continually advancing themselves through training, involvement with product launches, and is active within the team dynamics will find themselves at home with Myers and Stauffer. Our knowledgeable staff will partner with you in your career journey with us. Whether it be our software that manages billions of dollars of state and federal budgets, processes that consume billions of claims, custom portals for provider/client use, or the FBI/DOJ work to fight fraud, waste, and abuse, work is never dull in seeing the direct impact we have across the nation. This position will open several project opportunities across the firm; come join our expanding team!

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with technical and business subject matter experts to understand requirements and technical designs.
  • Review requirements, user stories, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium C#.
  • Create/maintain Automation test frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
  • API test automation.
  • Optimize test scripts for performance, stability, and maintainability.
  • Prepare test data and oversee readiness of test environments.
  • Identify, document, report and track QA defects in Jira.
  • Track QA metrics - examples include test execution metrics, automation coverage, and defect metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3 years of related work experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Knowledge of both manual and automation testing.
  • Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Knowledge of current software QA methodologies and tools.
  • High proficiency with C# is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in creating/maintaining Nuget packages is a plus.
  • Selenium Automation experience is strongly preferred.
  • CI/CD experience in bamboo is a plus.Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Experience testing Desktop, Web Applications, large amounts of Data, and Reports.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing tools like Axe, SiteImprove, etc.
  • Experience working with complex SQL queries, GitHub, and BitBucket.
  • Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Work independently, be engaged and willing to ask questions.

The Team:
Myers and Stauffer takes pride in the welcoming and collaborative culture we have throughout our offices. For this position, the employee will report to one of our Managers or Senior Managers on the IT engagement team.

Work Style:
Our general business hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, but can vary based on business needs. Dependent on performance, our in-office associates are eligible for a hybrid work schedule after their initial 90-day training period. As a company, we are always willing to discuss potential flexibility that an employee may need to better suit their work-life wellbeing.
