The Principal Solution Architect, ServiceNow IT Workflows is responsible for providing architectural guidance and best practices in designing and developing tools and which enable ServiceNow IT processes and workflows for McKesson Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our partners and teams to establish, integrate, and continuously evolve best practice processes in ServiceNow. You will also provide input to the ServiceNow IT Operations roadmap, including onboarding integrations, processes, assets, and other relevant components to a unified ServiceNow platform to ensure consistent level of quality and service across the Enterprise.

What You'll Do:

Leads and establishes standards and practices for integrating and maintaining the ServiceNow IT workflows (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM) architecture and functionality, within the overall platform model.

Oversee the design, implementation and enhancements to IT workflows to achieve desired operational, compliance, and management outcomes while fostering simple, authoritative reporting and analytics. Accountable for driving and delivering solutions that are scalable, robust and aligned with industry best practices.

Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow module features, platform capabilities, and best practices.

Offer guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.

Actively managed expectations with business partners, while continuously iterating on the requirements with MT solution architects, and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive implementation. Accountable for fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.

Lead and manages complex technical aspects of multiple implementations, ensuring solutions and technical deliverables are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes. Review development against configuration and coding standards to identify remediation opportunities and improve platform maintainability. This role requires SME pertaining to technical domain.

Support remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices. Accountable for ensuring that all solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and internal governance policies. As a principal architect, the expectation is that this role will drive and implement best practices for data management, security and compliance.

Oversee the core IT solution suite (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM), focused on core features, integrations, and upstream-downstream data flows.

Partner with relevant process owners and implementation partners to design and deliver platforms that improve our holistic platform and enable operational excellence. May need to present technical roadmaps to senior leadership and share design best practices to larger audiences / forums.

Provides critical input to platform roadmap for features and capabilities to maximize platform value and build a sustainable platform.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to solution architects and other team members. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $173,300 - $288,900
