*Description*
Sr. Project Manager Job Description The Sr. Project Manager will plan Cyber Security initiatives and ensures quality, time, scope and budget objectives; Ensures customer oriented and economically beneficial project implementation while delivering new or enhanced (regulatory and/or non-regulatory) security efforts within IT-internal guidelines; Expert in project delivery methodologies including hybrid, waterfall, PoC, high-risk agile, SAFe, Kanban. Day to Day: * Produce a Charter for each project based upon the agreed scope and define the budget, identify the resources, create the schedule, outline the approach and suggest the sequencing of work required to execute the project effectively. * Drive delivery of all projects with predictable consistency, efficiency and success, ensuring overall compliance with IT-internal and smooth transition of the resulting solution into production. * Identify issues/risks, analyze options and manage impacts to mitigate project delays; Stay ahead of risks with predictive Project Planning and real-time mitigations; Partner with BA as a liaison between project. Teams and leadership to remove impediments or guides the team to remove its own impediments; * Take appropriate action to keep project on track, leveraging support from key stakeholders and/or management as required. * Champions collaborative discussion, decision making, and problem solving. * Manage, monitor and report project progress and budget updates, ensuring consistent and transparent communications are provided to Management and Executive Leadership. * Ensure all project costs (actuals) are actively tracked and managed, including SOWs/Purchase Orders, Contracts, internal resource assignments, and that accurate forecasts and accruals are maintained in SAP and Planview. * Coordinate the completion of all documentation, change requests, approvals, lifecycle steps and compliance gate requests in a timely manner to ensure the project continues to align with the agreed schedule. * Establishes project roadmaps for large initiatives through Charter pre-work to project level execution; * Ensure quality deliverables and adherence to pre-defined Project (Topic) Owner Acceptance Criteria, as well as Company Compliance and Quality standards * Demonstrates Expert Change Management ; Effectively communicates with Leadership for alignment and also with stakeholders to implement changes * Coaches and drives the Project (Topic) Owner and project team in applying the best practices to MR IT Regulatory quality standards * Ensures compliance and on time completion of MR Essentials (SAA) work products and activities * Maintains project reporting (i.e. workload, budget) by using the designated tools and publishes prescribed project status and team metrics * Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances Overall: * Responsible for understanding the short term and long-term Cyber strategy, using relevant data to translate Regulatory needs and/or Security vision to prioritized projects; Partners with leadership in partners longer term planning exercises (Road Mapping, Release Planning), * Stay current with Project (Topic) Owner and Program needs and strategies; utilizing formal and informal written communication methods (for example, emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive updates, task lists, updates) to communicate updates and findings and facilitating meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example: senior management, business areas, technical staff, internal and external IT partners) * Practice effective Change Management at varying levels of complexity complex level -focusing on LEAN, prioritized quality-improvements and solutions (technical and non-technical) that optimize costs and meet long-term Cyber strategies * Provide and support the implementation of solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities * Support Program overall direction with project level trend analysis, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing efficiency gains and improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) * Continually enhances own domain knowledge of corporate and regulatory changes, interdependencies, and technical cost savings opportunities Requirements: * A bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline, business analysis or equivalent education and work experience. * Minimum 5 years' experience as Project manager (IT business analyst experience is a plus) * Must have at least 2 years of Dev Ops and scrum master experience with expert skillsets to set up, maintain, report Backlogs out of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) tool. * Proven experience in agile application in both technical-and non-technical deliveries (Security solutions experience is a plus) * Independent worker with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent activities. Ability to adapt to changing priorities * Experience delivering cyber solutions and on cloud is a plus (COTs, PoC, Work instruction changes...)
