Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Act as Scrum Master for multiple agile development teams, contribute to the successful implementation of assigned Epics by ensuring that all the required tasks are appropriately understood, documented, owned, and actioned by the team Partner with Business Partners and application SMEs to identify and mitigate risk and execute upon end-to-end technology development to deliver solutions Manage timelines and communicate status Attend LACE, scrum of scrums, program iteration planning, help with retrospectives Assist agile team to facilitate stand up, sprint planning, backlog refinements Assist Agile Release Train with PrePI Planning, capacity planning and PI ceremonies Partner closely with Lean Agile Coaches, Agile teams at all levels and Senior Leadership to provide the highest quality coaching and education based on team needs Provide instruction and guidance on: Scrum, Kanban, scaled agile concepts and practices including value stream mapping, train increment planning and execution Requirements: 5-7 years' experience in technology and working in an agile environment SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certified, preferably SASM SAFe Advanced Scrum Master Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables Excellent proficiency and hands-on experience with Jira Expert in pulling reports from Jira tool Kanban and Scrum Framework experience Experience in developing and delivering education sessions Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team) Feature and story backlog prioritization and refinement Release planning (Program Increment) Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Process oriented and detailed oriented Positive attitude and open to feedback Problem solving skills Background in SAFe, PI planning, scrum ceremonies and reporting Desired skills: Payments or Banking background Ability to learn quickly and adapt to team environment Experience working in Agile or Waterfall methodology and understanding of various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
