Automation Systems Technician

OurAutomation Systems Technician supports Hearth & Home Technologies' digital transformation initiatives across all sites by implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Operations Technology solutions with a primary focus on Building Management Systems (BMS).

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, electro-mechanical, and BMS systems to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operation.

• Develop solutions to automate tasks, create custom functions, improve visualizations, and streamline data processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and adaptability.

• Proactively test and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and data integration, working closely with the engineering team around implementation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot emerging solutions, ensuring they align with operational goals and safety standards.

• 2-year technical degree in an Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in automation and Operations Technology systems.

• Experience with Ignition development, SQL databases, industrial hardware (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Maple, Omron, Mitsubishi), and programming languages (Python).
