THE JOB:
The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for performing control testing, auditing, and monitoring of audit evidence, and providing detailed results to the IT Compliance Lead team. This includes analyzing audit information for regulatory compliance, specifically related to Payment Card Industry (PCI), Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other relevant IT regulatory frameworks. The role also involves assisting in compliance and regulatory projects aimed at improving services and ensuring that IT operations meet the required standards for customer protection and organizational integrity.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Conduct continuous IT control testing to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Provide guidance to control owners by reviewing and assisting with their remediation plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Execute risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks in IT processes, ensuring compliance and security.

• Participate in regulatory meetings to stay informed on current industry regulations and ensure compliance with evolving standards.

• Suggest improvements for new and existing control processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Assist with IT regulatory knowledge needs across all areas, ensuring staff and teams are well-informed and compliant.

• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding and timely action on compliance matters.

• Leverage advanced Excel expertise to analyze data, track control testing results, and support audit and compliance reporting.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 1+ years of prior relevant experience in regulatory matters for Information Technology Compliance/Governance

• Advocate for IT compliance, focusing on control testing sites, SOX regulations, and audits (SOX, gaming, non-person accounts).

• Manage employee access, ensuring adherence to access control policies.

• Provide 24x7 on-call support, resolving issues efficiently and empathizing with customers.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Inspire self and others with a focus on achieving compliance and excellence.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring IT processes meet regulatory standards.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
