POSITION TITLE: Vice President, Information Technology
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Vice President, IT to oversee the entire corporate IT group including safety, people, customers, and financials. This position creates and directs operational strategies that result in accomplishing business goals, meeting department financial goals, being a successful leader of a team, and creating a reliable customer experience. The ideal candidate has proven success managing a (business group here), strong business and financial acumen, with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluates our emerging and existing technologies and processes, then advises the executive with cost effectiveness and competitive advantages in mind
• Operationalize IT processes across the corporate environment
• Ensure IT capabilities are responsive to the needs of corporate growth and changing objectives
• Develop and execute 3-5-year IT roadmap that aligns technology to ADB's growth plan.
• Provide focused, business-minded IT leadership, emphasizing IT's measurable contribution to metrics like revenue growth, profitability, market share, customer service etc. Direct experience with IT planning and budget management are required
• Oversee and lead the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet corporate needs
• Oversee the development and deployment of company-wide technology standards and ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards
• Oversee the company's network infrastructure and provide security, regulatory compliance, and provision for disaster recovery
• Maintain security of all data proprietary to the company and provide for the complete backup of all computer systems in case of system failure or disaster
• Executive level leader responsible for people management, production, performance, and quality within an entire department
• Direct Leader of people including compensation, performance, development, discipline, staffing, etc.
• Strong team and people leader that is highly strategic and forward thinking
• Complete ownership of the success of the department they oversee
• Advanced level of business and financial acumen; can independently create and execute upon strategic business plans and financial budgets
• Strong data and analytics skills to drive critical business decisions
• Responsible for creating and driving the department vision and strategic plan; is a Scorecard holder of business goals that aligns and contributes to the overall company goals
• Creates department processes and standards ensuring quality, production, performance, and task initiatives are met
• Advanced level presentation skills; can create board level collateral and presentations to professionally articulate various business information and/or data
• Ability to independently create and execute short term and long term business plans
• Creates, manages, and drive department budget ensuring cost control and adherence \
• Expert understanding of all tasks, functions, and processes of the division they oversee
• Upholds ADB's safety culture, leads by example and drives the philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organization
• Leads by example and influences engagement into the ADB culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion
• Creates the standard of collaboration and interdependence with other functional teams and operational groups ensuring strong relationships and collaboration to achieve overall business goals
• Performs other position duties when requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position operates out of a temperature-controlled office environment
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, copy/fax, and smartphones

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• 10+ years of experience leading an entire functional department within a corporate IT group required
• Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies, governance and security, server administration and network operations centers
• Experience with complex technical ecosystems preferred
• Current IT technology certifications showing expert knowledge in various technical programs preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology strongly preferred

This position starts at $150,000 a year and is determined by experience and skillset.
