Position Summary: This role will act as Open Rank Professor, a faculty member who has completed a doctorate degree in the area in which the faculty member will be teaching (i.e., Applied Behavior Analysis) as Open Rank Professor, they facilitate learning, and partake in scholarship, service, or any combination of those activities. The Program Coordinator for the Master of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) program is a member of the core faculty who is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the program, its faculty, and students. The Program Coordinator interacts with the Dean to establish a culture of inclusivity, compliance, and academic excellence. This role includes programmatic budgetary responsibilities, talent management, and working in collaboration with core and clinical faculty, students, and external stakeholders to achieve the mission and outcomes. The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in enhancing the student experience, certification success, and promoting the program's growth and development. Starting Salary:Step 1 Assistant Professor $74,369.09 annualized.A stipend will be applied for the Coordinator role, and the salary will be determined based on experience. Minimum Qualifications: Education: A Doctoral degree in Behavioral Analysis, or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university. Equivalent terminal degrees in relevant disciplines will also be considered. Experience: Adequate years of experience in the areas involved in assignments; documented potential in the areas of facilitating learning, scholarship, and service, as applicable to assignments; and if appropriate, a record of meritorious performance of the duties and obligations of an instructor. Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Behavior Analyst Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Nationally certified or provincially. Skills: * Serve a core faculty member and teach graduate level coursework. * Collaborate with the program faculty to develop and maintain a high-quality curriculum that meets the standards set by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and enables Alliant to meet the accreditation requirements of the ABAI or APBA. * Coordinate with program faculty to offer practicum experiences that meet the requirements of the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. * Coordinate the appointment of adjunct faculty members to teach courses and oversee research and practice. * Arrange for and review evaluations for all courses, and work with faculty to improve courses as needed. * Maintain program records, data analysis, and reporting to support continuous improvement and strategic planning. * Computer skills. * The ability to work independently and be self-motivated. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. * The ability to explain complex requirements in clear and concise terms. * The ability to be flexible with workflow to meet the needs of the department and students and to manage multiple tasks per required deadlines. *The drive to encourage, direct, hold accountable and guide students toward task completion. * Must demonstrate the ability to work as an effective team member and develop trusting relationships with students and University employees. * Culturally competent and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and/or experiences. * Proficient Highly motivated, focused and results oriented. * Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal interactions, and to maintain confidentiality. * Collaboration and partnering with other university stakeholders to support candidate success. * Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
