POSITION TITLE Process Safety Professional - Chemicals POSITION OVERVIEW The Chemical Division Process Safety Professional (reporting to the Director Health & Safety - Chemical Division) will be responsible for delivering top quartile process safety performance focused on our chemical manufacturing locations. This associate will coordinate and drive best practices of our process safety efforts including but not limited to: Process Safety Management (PSM), and associate training and development. He/she will work closely with corporate, division, and plant associates to align objectives, targets and projects focused on reducing risk and improving process safety. He/she will coordinate activities across our manufacturing facilities (currently 3 locations in the Upstate of South Carolina, one location in Florida, Kentucky & Pennsylvania) to ensure the deployment of best practices and sharing of opportunities and successes. This associate will actively engage in compliance audits at our facilities such as PSM, MI, LOPA & PHA. Valued experience includes time spent working on breakthrough performance with organizations that handle, manufacture, and process hazardous chemicals. A working knowledge of Process Safety and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) is required. Experience working for and with the safest companies in the chemical industry is preferred.
