Title:Summer 2025: Accounting Student TECO Energy is built on a foundation of more than 100 years of history. The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study. Position Summary/Details: Department: Utility Accounting - Energy Settlements Assisting Settlements Accounting team with preparation of monthly natural gas volume reports, audit requests and ad hoc reporting. Exposure to key Financial systems, Month-End Close, and commodity trading. Duties increase in complexity based upon the co-op's interest and aptitude. Examples of activities include:
Physical Location of Co-op: TECO Plaza 702 N. Franklin St. Working Conditions: Mostly in a normal office environment Preferred Availability: Part - Time (20-30 hours) QUALIFICATIONS: Education: The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
