Job Purpose:

The role of the Sr. Analyst - Supply Chain Finance Controller is designed to support the growing needs of our supply chain finance operations by focusing on reviewing and managing data to ensure the company is operating according to sound accounting principles and financial standards. The main focus is on monthly reporting, analytics, and forecasting activities to deliver sustainable path of profitability growth.



Key Accountabilities:

Monthly Closure



  • Run monthly closure activities in SAP for Inventory Revaluation. Partner with corporate to resolve issues and ensure proper allocation.
  • Perform inventory adjustments to reconcilie intentory against accruals and book journal entries in SAP; maintaining proper documentation for auditors.
  • Track actuals and perform Balance Sheet reconciliations for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Packaging.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis actuals (versus or against) budget and forecast.
  • Assist with month-end close postings and reconciliations as needed.


Modeling and Analysis



  • Perform retrospective analysis for capital expenditure projects.
  • Develop and maintain costing database for dynamic reporting and analysis.
  • Validate pricing set up for budget costing and production bills of materials.


Business Partnering



  • Collaborate cross functionally to help drive business initiatives.
  • Partner with plant controllers and corporate colleagues to enhance financial reporting and communication to management.
  • Serve as a backup resource for pricing inputs into SAP.
  • Help to track and validate cost savings.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.



Desired Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required (concentration in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain)
  • Three to five years' experience within supply chain finance or data analytics
  • Strong aptitude for assessing large datasets and deriving key performance-related insights.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced skills in Access and Excel, adept at downloading and analyzing data in both applications.
  • SAP, BI, and EPM experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to excel without constant supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative in task execution.
  • Demonstrate the ability to foster cross-functional alignment among Logistics teams and other departments through effective communication and collaboration.

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $80,000-$85,000, plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan (10% target). The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. This range may be subject to change over time.
