In this role you will manage all activities relating to existing business relationship management and new business development through the review, evaluation, contract negotiation and approval processes assuring corporate criteria for capital investment have been properly measured and achieved. Here's what you will do:
Lead commercial origination strategy for all of Enbridge GTM's offshore assets in the Southeast region communication with existing customers to retain and assess additional investment opportunities and contract renewals which align with the Company's strategy. Generate incremental (and existing) customer business through new expansion project development and execution including assisting in M&A strategy. Conduct the direct negotiations with existing and prospective customers and gather supporting department support throughout entire negotiation cycle for full due diligence activities. Identify, conceptualize and qualify growth projects for gas transportation working closely with customers and partners as well as internal technical, legal and regulatory resources. Market development opportunities to prospective customers, developing and managing processes where applicable and negotiating terms with customers and partners. Source and develop projects with capital investments in the hundreds of millions or billions of dollars with similarly scaled EBITDA expectations. Build relationships and consensus across several internal departments, including but not limited to - Regulatory, Legal, Engineering, System Planning, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Marketing, Contracts, and Commercial Operations. Conduct comprehensive due diligence efforts to assure risks are identified and mitigated prior to ownership transfer. Conduct post-mortem review of unsuccessful efforts and record outcomes to assess competitiveness in the market. Support the Director, Business Development & Marketing, Louisiana & Offshore in the development of strategic planning and initiatives.
Who you are:
You have:
A Bachelor's degree in related field. 7+ years of interstate and/or offshore pipeline industry experience including external (customers, stakeholders, investors) interaction and relationship management experience. Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. Strong achievement orientation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. A valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel in the region or other locations as required. Office environment.
