- Selected candidate should be located within the Natural Gas territory (Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North & South Carolina).

This is the third level of the Security Coordinator classification hierarchy. Employees at this level manage work in security areas of specialization, with minimal supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. They are fully competent in use of concepts and procedures. They identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Program Development - Physical Security

  • Program Development/Sustainment - Security Management Programs

  • Program Development/Sustainment - Regional Security Office Operations

  • Program Development/Sustainment - Regulatory Compliance

  • Program Development - Crisis Management

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree and seven (7) or more years of related work experience

  • In lieu of degree; High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) or more years of related work experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Leadership/Supervision role at least for five years in the Security or related field

  • Experience in conducting Physical Risk Assessments, as well as compliance evaluations for internal / external business growth

  • Experience in partnering with federal, state and emergency response agencies, regarding program coordination and advancement

  • Possess an established network of federal, state, and local law enforcement contacts, to help coordinate professional relationships in support of the NGBU business model

  • Project Management Fundamentals & Proficient in principles of project management

  • Certified Protection Professional

  • Certified Fraud Examiner

Specific Requirements:

  • Able to obtain / sustain Government Sponsored / Regulatory required security clearance and access rights to secured space

  • Able to travel as needed within the 5 state natural gas territories (Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North & South Carolina) to assess and address physical security needs; significant drive time, traversing uneven terrains and some overnight travel will be required.
