  • Workday experience preferred or related system.
  • Prepares and assists with processing accounting, payroll, purchasing, procurement, inventory, financial acumen, work order management and operations management information.
  • Assists support services department management through developing and maintaining the electronic work order management system, other databases and schedules for reporting purposes.
  • Creates and provides statistical information and graphs to the Director, Managers and staff regarding benchmarks, costs, productivity, etc.
  • Provides Managers and staff with support functions including procurement, accounts payable, payroll and manual updates.
  • Coordinates work products and tasks with outside vendors to meet the hospital needs.
  • May act as system resource and expert with the Building Automation System or other information technology based systems.
  • Previous Clerical, Procurement Management, Computer Operations, Computer/Keyboard Skills, Data Analysis or Facility Maintenance experience required.

As anOperations Coordinatorwith Sentara, you will provide support to the Director/Manager in a clinical setting. This position's primary duties include office activities, supply ordering, and business financial activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, manage supplies/materials, understand and perform accurate and timely data collection, and demonstrate effective use and maintenance of office equipment. Provides administrative assistance to Director(s)/Manager(s) in support of the operations of the department(s)assigned.

Assists Director/Manager(s) with clerical tasks, including correspondence, recording of meeting minutes, meeting arrangements, and department records.

Prepares and assists with processing accounting, payroll, purchasing, procurement, inventory, financial acumen, work order management and operations management information.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Secretary
